This was another purchase today.... Another very nice piece... Much nicer than the pics. Triangle shaped with an inset bowl of Lavender with Gold. The Lavender is lighter than the pics show.... Approx 3 inches tall and around 10.5 inches along each edge of the triangle. A very unique color in the center which may provide the clue to house if anyone recognizes it.... There appears to be two layers of the Lavender glass separated by a thin layer of white. Gold in the interior Lavender layer and none present in the outer layer towards the clear glass. From the top you see both layers divided by the white..... A really unusual piece..... Flat ground and polished foot with age appropriate wear..... Strikes me as 1960's.... What do you guys think??
As always....
TIA

May we have a base shot too? Is there kinda a white line in the bowl too?
Thanks

Not really questioning you ;D but is there definitely two layers of lavender with white between or is it alabastro ie. lavender with white streaks, more prominent at the top? I was going to say it seems strange to sandwich the white in between an opaline glass, as it wont make the opaline change in look as it would say a transparent lavender.

I will try to add a couple more pics later when I have a moment, but yes.... there is definitely a very thin layer of white between the two layers of Lavender. The underside of the bowl shows thick clear with a pure lavender outer layer for the bowl itself and no white showing there. I will include a bottom shot and also a good image of where the division between the two layers shows the best..... One of the reasons I grabbed it is that I do not know that I can remember seeing this technique used before.... I have seen it with two different colors separated by white in a geode, but not in this manner..... Plus, the color is very nice, and also a bit less common.

I posted a lampbase a while ago that was lavender with gold. The makers suggested as possibles in that thread were, Barbini, Salviati and Fratelli Toso. Sorry, probably not much definite help but perhaps avenues to explore? It does look a similar colour to mine but I don't know how common this colour was in use amongst the various makers.
