hello all. I bought this at a local Antiques centre and it was listed as being French Art Deco... The base looks more like some of the Sklo Union pieces I have with a deep "well". It is a nice vase with a clear polished interior and this patchy frosting tha tlooks just like an ice pattern forming. It's a big heavy vase but cannot find anything else like it to be able to attribute it. Thaks for all your help Markus

Modern and with a painted finish that flakes off I think. I think you might have been robbed.

Markus I think Christine is right - unfortunately for you. There are many of these on ebay ...some pale pink and I've also seen them in royal blue I think. Hopefully you didn't pay too much

I have only seen these for the last year or so. Those I have run into were in yellow with tall trumpet like shapes, one had a barcode....

I've only noticed them in the last year as well, but I didn't want to say that in case someone said they'd been around for years and I hadn't noticed them :)

I've seen them for at least the last couple of years

Methinks it is Spanish recycled.

I agree with Ivo - Spanish recycled. I have the same one where the finish has also started to wear off.
