Title: hollow cut stick by Stuart
Post by: Paul S. on January 29, 2012, 04:23:20 PM
Judging by the backstamp I'm guessing the date of manufacture is somewhere between the late '40's and about 1960, and must have been towards the end of the era of producing sticks of this quality and size - it's about 7.3/4" - 195mm tall.        First hollow cut example I've seen, and had hoped to find it in the Stuart catalogues linked from either bOBA or Ross (yesterday) - but no luck, neither do I see it in Miller's  -  maybe it simply doesn't have a name.       Too big to have been part of a trinket set I would have thought.       Does anyone have any more info., or perhaps know of a design name.     thanks for looking. :)
