Hi
Another item from my auction 'box'. From my research I think this is a Bagley Wyndham vase - is this correct?. The glass is clear with a very pale purplish tint. It's a very nice art deco shape but I believe the clear versions of this pattern are very common?
Any help with a date range would be great (I guess somewhere 1930 -1940s).

As your research has shown, the pattern is a match for the square version of Bagley's 1333 pattern, later known as 'Wyndham' . Your vase is likely to be Bagley, however, the same design was also produced in Poland by J. Stolle-Niemen and can be found in their 1923-35 trade catalogue (This was available from www.pressglas-korrespondenz.de PK-2008-1-05).
Although introduced in the 30s, the Bagley version was in production for a long time. I don't know exactly when production of this shape ceased, but I suspect it was still being made in the 1960s at least.

Thanks very much for your help and the useful info, I found the design in the catalogue you mentioned.
Just wondering if there is any way of telling the difference between the British made vases and those produced in Poland? I've seen that this design was used for a number of different items and my vase does have a slightly different height vs base width compared to some photos I've seen (e.g. some of the british uranium glass versions don't seem to be as tall). were they produced in different sizes and heights?
