Title: meander and daisy pattern
Post by: Ivo on March 12, 2006, 04:53:19 PM
Is there a name to the pattern "meander and daisy", when was it made, who are the known manufacturers? I have seen a creamer appear in the Leerdam 1906 catalogue, and I've seen othe parts of the service attributed to AG für Glasfabrikation vorm. Gebr. Hoffmann (Germany) so I assume there must be a number of other makers of same.

Hi Ivo,

It is very similar to davidson's daisy pattern, sometimes know as daisy and key.

Thanks Chris. I've just discovered on close inspection the "Rittermarke" in the central daisy of the plate, so that was made by Von Streit.  :D  :D
