Bought this vase a while back and have had all sorts of trouble trying to identify it, would be very grateful for any pointers.
It's mold-blown triple layered (orange, red, clear) with a pontil mark that I can't find anywhere. It's about eight inches in height.

Hope you don't mind me bumping this :D

I've made these clickable links as they weren't working. However, it could be my silly little netbook I'm currently using, but the images are so large I can't view them. Can others?

Hmm, they came up as previews when I first posted this.
Here's the link to the blog: http://daisyandherthings.wordpress.com/2012/02/03/my-lovely-red-vase/ (http://daisyandherthings.wordpress.com/2012/02/03/my-lovely-red-vase/)

I can but only by resizing them, Max. The full-size image is 4,608px × 3,072px which is massive, and the files are 3Mb each.
daisyj42 may I copy your images and resize them for you and add them to the board so that others using smaller screens can see them? It also means the images will stay here as a reference / permanent ID for when we manage to work it out.

Of course you can Anne, I'm unable to do it on this laptop.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Daisy, thank you. I've resized and added them, and I've cropped out two more to give a better shot of the top and the finish of the bottle, hopefully these will help pin down a maker for you. :)

That's brilliant Anne. Thank you so much. I thought that pontil mark would make it easy, but not been able to find anything anywhere. It's such a lovely item as well, would be so pleased to put a name/age to it.

I may be missing something here, but I don't think that your pontil mark carries any special significance - it appears to be simply a snapped pontil that may have been slightly fire polished. The colour and shape are, perhaps, a different matter, and someone may well recognize those features. Sorry to be negative. :)

It's not negative if it gets me closer to finding the maker! Thanks Paul!
