Hello all. Enjoying the snow?
I have this Whitefriars 9571 bud vase (i'm sure I'll be corrected if wrong) ... I was wondering about the chamfering on the top. Has some one had a go at refinishing or did they come like this new?
Always appreciative to those in the know - so thanks in advance.

Normally cold ground and then polished but not unusual to see a slight bevelled edge.

Does look a little 'rough' though Lol
Don't hold your breath if you are listing it the rare lilac perfect with both labels just scraped a tenner.

Thanks Chris,
Not thinking of selling. It is a friends and he has had for years.
Thanks for the comparison photos. Very helpful. £10 would not be worth the effort of listing - I'm sure it was just bad luck on they day (there is a lot of 'bad luck' on ebay though). What would think it should have been made or would be in a shop?
I'm sure I would pay £10 in a charity shop if (known) Whitefriars ever made it into one near me. Most good stuff never makes it anywhere near the charity shops I go to unless it is a direct donation (not sifted and sorted). Nearly everything I find in charity shops has been donated and put straight out. When it does they often want quite a lot for it.
