ID help needed for a clear textured cut-glass vase:
21cm, weight 1990g, polished base and top.
-
It's not cut; it's moulded
-
eeerrrrrmmmm, correct...

What a lovely vase. It looks like the sort of design that was popular in Scandinavia in the 60s and 70s, from your photos it appears that the base is moulded and the rim is polished, is that right?
I can not help with the designer or maker but here are a couple of examples that some have similarities:
Carl-Einar Borgström, Björkshult: http://www.starkeld.com/prod_img/normal/5079%20CEB%201.jpg
Henrik Koivula, Humppilan Lasi: http://www.starkeld.com/prod_img/normal/5097%20Kumela%203.jpg

Hello! Both, a part of the base and the rim is polished ... i can see some similarities to WMF 70's pieces (i am from germany)
i don't know... could be everything :P
-
this should be the same manufacturer... i would say:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/massive-vase-60er-jahre-design-glas-CZECH-WMF-GRAL-/110578738585?pt=Glas_Kristall&hash=item19bf01a599
i don't like ebay-links or attributions but the base, rim and the glass is so similar
-
I would call the attribution "...czech or german gral or wmf ?..." rather vague ;D

thats what i thought... :hi:

The on in the link is a Gral.... ;D
From their ´Nordland´-series, designed by Josef Schott, who also worked for Smalandshyttan.
It´s shown in ´Gralglas - Deutsches Design 1931-1981´ by Ricke, van Loyen & Riemann
I think your vase is by someone different though...

Another example, this time a Tauno Wirkkala vase, ebay listing, similar but not a match: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&item=180816442251
