Hi,
I purchased this lovely champagne saucer at an Antique fare yesterday. I wonder if anyone can tell me where I could find out some information on it, please?. I have called it Bohemian but that is just a guess. There is a signature on the second photo but I can't make it out I'm afraid. It measures 14.5 cms tall and the saucer has a diameter of 10 cms.
Thanks,
Bryn

Bryn, I'd start by looking at Egermann http://www.egermann.cz/ due to similarities with Adam's wine glass and my tankard here: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,42940.0.html

Thank You Ann, much obliged.

Sorry I meant Anne!
Yes, lots of similar pieces on those links.
Here is a slightly blurred close up of the sig just in case someone might recognize it.
Thanks again.

My thoughts are that Egermann-style items with what I call "larger, or less delicate" scrolls etc., are modern (i.e 20th & 21st century) products.
Click on "Egermann Classic" in this page (http://www.crystal-treasury.com/store/bohemiacrystal/IndexRam.asp?Odkaz=*&LevaLista=Glass_Crystal&Line=Egermann) at crystal-treasury.com for current sales items. They have the larger scrolls and other motifs, which I guess have been used for many years but maybe not back into the 19th century.
But I don't know which company (or companies) they are (or were) from.

Hi,
Thanks. I have looked through the Egermann Classic site but I have not been able to find a champagne saucer. Anyway as I must assume that they, Egermann, should have a comprehensive knowledge of these ruby pieces, I have sent them a photo hoping they may recognize the style and signature and i will await they're reply.
Cheers
Bryn
