Title: Green vase more bubble than glass!! - ID = John Walsh Walsh
Post by: Ursa_major on February 14, 2012, 08:52:12 PM
This small and slightly crudely made vase has a miriad of random bubbles many breaking through to the surface of the glass. Can anyone suggest a maker? 10cm tall with circular ground and polished pontil.

Easy peasy. It's a Walsh Walsh violet/posy vase from the Pompeian range and it's uranium glass. Here's his blue brother (not uranium glass) http://lustrousstone.co.uk/cpg/displayimage.php?pid=1247

That should be the easy bit. I'm sure you'll manage.

There's a very good book on the subject. See:
