I came by this http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/28588-moser-spatter-enameled-glass?in=user
I suspected this vase might have been made by Moser. The shape of the rim is very similar to one of the vases in that link.
I've posted this before but never in it's own post... http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,19946.0.html

I'm always curious about these particular pieces. The difference I note between yours and the pieces in the left hand most photo in that link (the photo from the Passau Museum) are that they appear to have 'swirls' of white in the yellow, rather than the white 'spatter' effect that yours has.
Also, a) Alfredo says that it is noted that other makers made this yellow and white swirl glass
b) I find it hard to get my head around the enamelling on lots of these pieces being Moser, when often people post a particularly beautifully enamelled piece of glass on this board and are told that the quality is nowhere near Moser. I'm not talking about the enamelling on your vase - I love the strawberries they are gorgeous - but just that others have posted some nice pieces and been told the quality is not good enough for Moser, yet I have seen quite a few of these yellow pieces and the enamelling hasn't been that great.
c) I thought Moser was mostly signed but perhaps not in the early days?
In summary I think some will be Moser (Alfredo says on the response to that posting that he has one vase that is signed) but others will be from other Czech makers. And working out which is which I should think would be very difficult.

Still a bit of a mystery then.
I found this jug which seems to be by the same maker... Jug with Strawberry decoration (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/250825161069?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dp5197.m570.l1313%26_nkw%3D250825161069%26_sacat%3DSee-All-Categories%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1#ht_5248wt_952)
Maybe help pin it down further, or not.
Most of the gilding has worn away from the top of my vase but it still looks good. I wonder if anyone else has any strawberry decorated enameled glass?

I'm not sure if this is by the same maker as the enameling seems to be a lot poorer... http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?album=629&pos=47&PHPSESSID=db7c7b380bd55f2642f98cbd2e6015aa

with regards the jug, did Moser make pieces leaving them with a rough snapped off pontil mark? I do slightly question a lot of pieces sold as Moser as I have seen masses of enamelled pieces, all seem to be attributed to Moser :-\ But I'm open to correction and probably not the best person to be commenting, never having had a piece of Moser glass myself ;D
oops :-[ I've just seen your further post - but it is not a definite attribution to Moser?

I have no idea about the attribution, ebay attributions just go in one ear and out the other with me. ;D
Here's another one only without the spatter... http://www.rubylane.com/item/458334-A-977/Pair-Circa-1890-Antique-Moser
Very different though.
I don't think my vase has a sharp pontil, not sure, finding it again is a quest in itself. ;D I think if something is old enough it will have a sharp pontil, that's what i've read in books anyway. I've held one piece of Moser glass which was attributed to Moser by Great Glass site... http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,33806.0.html I don't remember if it had a polished pontil though.
I'm just guessing about it being Moser, i'm not really sure.

oh I've only just seen your links on here :)
I know I really should desist from commenting ;D but the matching pair you linked to.. they are gorgeous, the strawberries are different, and I'm in no position to question their id , but all those shots of the pair and not a shot of the base and no reference for the id and $600.00? :o
