Title: Czech Art Glass Hyacinth(?) Vase Form - some input please?
Post by: eglass on February 18, 2012, 11:53:48 PM
Hi folks!

Came across this interesting vase and treatment at a local yard sale - for the lunch money price, I had to have it.

It's 6.375" tall, 3.75" at widest part of bottom, 3.375" wide at widest part of top bulb.

I did look through some of the references I have for Kralik and Rindskopf, but don't see this exact shape. So, on to other makers (or perhaps I missed
seeing it on those two references?)

In regular light kind of a pale golden colored glass with inclusions and a nubby surface, very random. Under direct lighting, the colors come out to play. :)

Mold blown, no pontil mark and no finished bottom.

Thanks folks!
