The shape and size make me think this is Bohemian c1930s , but i havent seen this technique before.
Nicely made in milk glass, the top is polished, beviled and was gilded. 5 1/4 inches tall.
The pattern has been painted on first, and then hundreds of very tiny coloured glass beads applied on top.
Any ideas, i cant remember seeing anything similar.
Cheers

( actually with sun behind , i think its opalescent, with a reddy glow ! )

It's called coralene and I love it
but it can be good coralene or not so good :) some is 'glued' on, the other is fired on - the glued on ones have bits that tend to fall off in parts as far as I know. I have one piece and it is just the most gorgeous effect, literally it glistens doesn't it?
that's a lovely design and it looks well made... the beads are pretty colours.

Its lost a few beads, in places, but in pretty good condition , i suppose it was worth the £1 i had to fork out !
