Title: Vase - Holmegaard copy?
Post by: adam20 on February 23, 2012, 04:28:36 PM: Bought this cheap - the opaque white in good heavy cased clear glass is good and the decoration reminds me of Holmegaard by Lutken and Bang c1970 - but the top doesn't look at all Holmegaard - so good copy or can someone attribute it to a factory - its 6.5" high

Could very well be a "Holmegaard, Kastrup or Fyens Glasswork" but not an official catalog one. Glassblower was not allowed to make "sales items" for them self, but was allowed other things in glass and was called "Søle" "After hours work" often they did some change to the original. Post by: rocco on February 26, 2012, 01:47:23 PM: One seller at the fleamarket had 3 of these vases the other day (exact same shape and decoration, but basic colours were light pink and light green), they had a sort of crumply base and looked totally new...
