Title: Quality Green & Gold gilt boat shaped dish Bohemian I suspect
Post by: jonchellycain on February 28, 2012, 03:37:08 PM
HI all
I bought this recently and have been so far unsucessful in identifying it.
Very good quality, when I first saw it I thought maybe Moser ? but unfortunitly there are no markings.
Made from green glass which is frosted around the outer, the base is flat and well polished with good signs of age wear. The rim is cut polished and bevelled, the gilding has worn off around the rim
It has a pattern cut into it then painted in what looks like 22ct gold.
20.5cm in length
any ideas as to maker?
many thanks
michelle

I'm inclined to say Sèvres or St.Denis.
