Title: Heavy enameled thick gilded stoppered jug, Bohemian again i suspect
Post by: Andy on March 01, 2012, 05:00:02 PM
Hogging the board a bit today, got a nice haul at a fair recently   mostly Bohemian.
Nearly passed this by, not my type of thing, but on close inspection, lovely enamel work, and thick gilding, could have been too easy to
dismiss as cheap stuff, but its a quality thing. Polished pontil, number 34 to base, in that sort of script found on 19th C Bohemian, stopper is wrong though, Number 5 !
Im thinking along the lines of Moser, i think its that black and gilt ring ?? Wishful thinking?? I'm good at that !
Am i way off course ??

Cheers again (last one today :P  )
