Title: WMF cranberry glass Victorian boot
Post by: mhgcgolfclub on March 07, 2012, 09:46:56 PM
A superb WMF cranberry glass Victorian boot , marked on the base WMF 1/o , I believe it is silver plated but best left uncleaned.

I really like the quilted cranberry glass.

Height 8.25" / 21cm weight 758gm

Hi Roy,
the I/O mark means there is 1g silver on the surface of a square of 10 x 10cm.
I am not sure it has been in use after 1914 also, but suppose you would have dated
it a bit earlier anyway...  :)
