Title: Orange Vase

I bought this orange vase in the 1990s in a thrift store in Germany and I always believed it to be from the 1970s. It has a pontil mark (or even several marks?) at the base and stretched bubbles inside the glass.
Whats your thoughts on this, could it be czech and maybe older than 1970s?

Whatever it is, it does not have a pontil mark. Those are just cooling marks.

I think it's more likely that it's German than Czech, but I agree on 70s. It fits with the style of German glass made in that time. Unfortunately German glass is difficult to pin down to a maker, since there were many, many factories around before the 1980's, and only a few of those have left any materials available.

Usually my best way to find out what it was is to keep an eye on ebay.de for a similar one to turn up that still has a label on it.

Thanks Astrid, that makes sense:) However it´s quite a decorative piece for Vintage interiors. That´s why I bought it back then long before I started to collect glass. And it is the only vase I own I ever used for its real purpose: Putting flowers in it:)
