I commissioned Mark Eliott (Wild Ibis Glass) of Sydney to make me a Black Swan in memory of my wife, Meyance. I think he has done a wonderful job and for all the bird lovers out there I am posting this item.

hello Ross - my deepest sympathies for your sad loss - I've been there and can share some of your feelings - I hope you keep these swans by you always. Those whom we truly love never really leave us - they live on in our memories always.

Beautiful tribute. My condolences.

My thanks to all of you for your condolences. Yes she was a wonderful wife and person. Here intent was that I buy a nice paperweight or similar item for my birthday this year - when she knew she would not be able to get me a present due to her failing health. In the long run I chose this because she was an Anglo-Indian lady and rather darker complexioned compared to me and the dignified way a swan swims seemed appropriate.

Dear Ross, that is the most beautiful tribute to a woman I know you loved deeply. I think Paul's wise words speak for all of us.
