I just assumed this was Kralik when I bought it and put it on the shelf. However I've not found a match for the decor or the gilding and I'm now wondering whether it might be a Rindskopf version of papillon perhaps? or any other ideas very welcome :)
The base colour is olivey pear green and it has splodges of blue in it like baccillus shapes - the whole is iridescent. When you open the lid you can see the splodges and there is one red splodge very visible strangely.
It's 9.5cm diameter at the base, the lid is only7.5cm diamter so it's a cute shape and the height is 5.5cm. The gilding is faded but beautiful - swirls of fine lines and what appear to have been some sort of spidery type flower design, reminds me of Japanese design for some reason.
thanks for looking

uhh, looking for something else, came across on Alfredo's site where it says Rindskopf did do a papillon finish but it was usually in purple ...

I have been searching for something similar to this effect. The one I've linked to is not identical but the shape seems very similar and I wondered if mine also could be Glasfabrik Elizabeth (Pallme Koenig) perhaps? the linked one also has gold decor on it on top of the threading. Mine has a gold enamelled pattern on it as well over the decor.
