Hi All, it's my first post on the forum... I cannot walk past any well designed object and while hunting for WGP pieces I started to gather Scandinavian and Czech glass amongst other. Recently I picked up this wonderful bowl and I was wondering whether anyone here would know anything about the maker? Thanks!

Welcome to the board. We'd like a bit more information to be able to help you. We need a shot of the whole item and the base and some information on dimensions please.

And your location on the planet can often help too. ;D
Can you help me? What's WPG?
welcome!

No, I know ;)

Saw a red one of these with a Czech label ;D

Thanks everyone for your replies! Bowl is large, about 35cm in diameter. I had a feeling that is Czech or Scandinavian...
Yes, it's West German Pottery and I'm in Ireland but collect mostly in my native Poland :)
Here are photos of the base and whole bowl (sorry, 2nd is out of focus...)

Hi,
A view straight down on the bowl would help. Is the base chamferred?

David: No, it's a straight cut (apologies, I don't know the right terminology!).

Thanks for the additional photographs. It look very Czech to me, but I can't remember particular manufacturer. I wuldn't walk past it either.
