Does anyone know where to find the name for this glass pattern. It is an E & L champagne saucer. It has the mark for 1927-1939. The pattern is really nice and very deeply cut. I have been through all the replacement sites with no luck.

Not an uncommon pattern I don't think - I've a dessert or sweetmeat somewhere, but what the pattern is called I haven't a clue, and H. W. Woodward's book 'The Story of Ediburgh Crystal' - includes very few named designs of cut glass (of little use to glass collectors). There are, however, in existence somewhere, 14 substantial volumes of Edinburgh Crystal's pattern books (they were at one time at Penicuik (factory site) but not sure of their whereabouts now - they might be with Broadfield House, so you might try contacting them. Anyone know where these books are??

I've got a bit, same cutting, but the sides are straight - a jam dish, I assume.
I wouldn't think these are for champagne though - the rim is too thick - probably another footed jam.

I will look into that. I have six of these, 2 have nibbles that cant be seen but can be felt. That's why I assumed Champagne Saucers although they are on the heavy side
