Hi:
Found this today for a price of $2.99. I am thinking it is either a Butter dish, or a dish for corn-on-the-cob ??. About 8.25 long and 3.50 inches at the widest point. Almost 2 inches tall at tallest point. Glows like a trooper, but not idea on the maker or the year. Might it had a lid, or not ????????
Thanks :)
.........and Still a Big Thank you to Paul S for sending me the UV torch light....where would I be without it!! TY

soap dish?

Corn I would say, as the handles are uneven and almost certainly American. Have a look through here http://chataboutdg.com

I think I have been through about 2000 images there -- and nothing yet ..... :-\
I never realized the handles were different either till you mentioned it - DOH

I wasn't sure by what you meant by 'uneven'. I actually thought that the different appearance of the handles was a distortion in the photo. But as a corn on the cob dish it makes perfect sense.

Another option might be a sardine dish. One end for holding and the other for pouring off the oil

hello Rose - glad to hear the torch still getting good use. :) Sorry, can't help with this one though - but whatever, I'm inclined to think uncommon - since I've not seen anything similar. I take it you've been though Pamela's miscellaneous bits and pieces - just a thought.
