Hi,
My wife and I are going crazy trying to identify the artist of a glass vase we recently bought at a garage sale. The signature is extremely faint. I've attached pictures. Anyone help?
Thanks!

Hello and welcome, any chance of a better picture it's a little blurry,I'm sure someone will recognise it ;D

You need to use the macro (flower setting) on your camera, as it's focused beautifully on the background

Thanks for looking at my post and the camera setting suggestion. The signature is very very faint. I've attached the latest attempts.

You are so right about it looking like "Studio..." I'm not sure why we didn't see that. Thank you! Now for the second part...

Im not 100%, but i think its a Will Shakespeare vase. Similar colours to his stuff, and i know he signs it on
an unpolished base, its always hard to read, and done in the same tecnique as yours.
Try searching this board for Will Shakespeare Glass, and have a look at his site. Should be examples of his signature.

Andy I'm not sure about that. I did think it was a possibility when I saw the vase and the original picture of the sig, but now the pic is clearer it really doesn't seem to be. I don't know if they ever signed 'Studio ....' :-\
are you in the States ?
