Title: Iridescent Art Nouveau Vase With Enamelled Lily - Signed
Post by: heartofsklo on April 04, 2012, 02:50:33 PM
Unsure who made this vase but has all the looks of Bohemian to me. To the base it is hand written in white enamel "W.X" with what looks like "H.12" beneath it. The vase measures 4 inches tall.

Nice one! I´m not 100% sure, but the H. may stand for Betty Hedrich, who signed
responsible for some of Poschinger´s decors.

Thanks Mike & Dirk, great info and another name that I had not come across before.
Should I assume around c1900 (ish) for this piece?

´Das Böhmische Glas - Band V´ dates them quite exactly around 1900.  :)

Thanks again Dirk, I will have to aspire to owning one volume of those 7 books  ;D

There is a special magic to me about Bohemian art nouveau till modern glass.
