This vase was filthy when bought - hot worked rim and bubble to base - looks like Aseda - anything further welcomed
Thanks Adam

Probably not if the rim is ground and polished, Krosno or made elsewhere in Poland I expect. Various objects with bubbles in the base were produced by the container load and sold by lots of retailers such as M&S. Loads of examples if you search this board.

I've seen loads with M&S stickers on the base.
Anther dead give away is when the glass is clear with a film applied to the inside. This often gets scratched.
I've picked a few up being impressed by the shear size 20" or so high. I think I've seen those with 'Made in China' on the base. These were cased glass.
As I have not handled the real deal, I leave the rest alone until I'm more clued up.

I know what you are saying - but this is the right colour and scans with Leslie Pina in Fire and Sea for Aseda or maybe another Scandi factory - the bubble in base is almost identical to a piece of Magnor I posted a few weeks ago, it had a label so was confirmed - I bought this with some 'Dog bone' vases that are Aseda.
The rim is hot worked not polished.
