Hi Steve, it stands for Jones & Co, an importer rather than a manufacturer.  The label would also have said "Made in Sweden".  The California label is probably a retailer label.  I forget which make this design is, but I'm sure someone will know.

I seem to recollect that they also imported Murano. This piece looks more like a Murano piece.

On the label pic, I'm sure I can make out the tops of the letters for "SWEDEN".

This one looks mould blown, similar Murano shapes are usually facet cut I think.

Agreed, John.  Was I right in thinking Jones also imported Murano. I could be thinking about George Hardy. (I must stop posting in the middle of the night.)

Mod: Important Note. As at 19 May 2020, a thread by Wayne (https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,69609.msg387923.html#msg387923) advises that George Hardy was not the importer of various glass items as has been stated in threads within the GMB. The correct importer name is Hans Geismar.

Lindshammar is a distinct possibility.

Here is one of Wayne's photos with an intact label: http://www.20thcenturyglass.com/auctions/2011/lind290911_vase.jpg
