Another of this weeks finds a peach coloured vase about 23 cms high with a chain link type pattern at the base and a ripple pattern under the clear foot can any one help identify this please I thought Sklo Union ?

I think I have identified this piece after trawling through my SKLO Union disc of pattern books I came across a design 18789 by Hermanova Hut 1958 catalogue. It doesn't show the overshot on the base but has the chain link effect. If anyone else has this catalogue can you confirm I am on the right track please.

Looks good to me, the catalogue gives the diameter as 9cm - presumably at the top.

just checked mine and it is 9cms at the bottom and 11 cms at the top ?

Or presumably not... ;D
Looking at that page in the catalogue, which has a host of vases pictured, it looks to me like the diameters given are in fact for the base. If you compare the sizes top and bottom of each vase with the diameter given for each one with the other vases then quite a few of them could not be for the top - they would be way to small. So base diameter it must be. Sorry about that extra confusion. ;D
