I haven't the faintest idea who made this or what the signature says, so all suggestions welcome!

Perhaps a long shot but how about Biot?

Not Biot. Looks contemp polski and dremeled with a fantasy sig...

Reminds me of some of the Mexican beer glasses I've seen from a few years back.

Thanks very much for the suggestions. It does seem very similar to Biot glass, aside from the signature not matching.
I thought the signature might read "Riom", which turns out to be a French town. After a bit of Googling, I found this:

My French is none existent, but what I gather from Google Translate, is that the company "Verrerie du Marais de Riom" was set up in 1980, by Albert + Gérard Pradelli, formerly of Biot glassworks, which would explain the similarity and the signature?

There are a number of Biot spin-offs in the region and models and workmanship would be similar. Except in Biot glass there would not be a clear foot, the bubbles would be all over . so you can see at once it's not. Biot also uses a small cursive acid etch mark and never hand signs.

Thanks for the tips Ivo, I see what you mean about the foot. Biot spin-off it is then.
