I am helping a friend down size her Mom's home. We live a fair distance from each other therefore I am relying on pics via email. Thought, suggestions...

Hi Mac, can't help you on the first piece, but the second is a classic piece of French art deco designed by Pierre D'Avesn. I'd expect it to have a moulded mark. It's a beautiful and quite desirable item...
