hello, this is what I'd best describe as "art nouveau" it appears to be some kind of oil burner.

Possibly Polish, but definitely very modern: late 20th/21st century

Oh wow, I was totally wrong about that one then  ;D
I take it then, mass produced and not much value? one for the "car boot" pile?
