Title: glass acid etched table lamp, 60's, 70's? ID please
Post by: hugosanti on April 27, 2012, 06:04:33 PM
Hello everyone!
I attached some pictures of my glass lamp.
They seemed to be acid etched, are they?
They look 70's or 60's (mostly 70's) what do you think?
have you any idea of the manufacturer or its origin?
Thanks in advance.
Hugo

are your lamps and lampshades completely unmarked?
They look as though they use a similar process to a Daum lamp in one of my books.  The design is different, in that the lamp has alternating vertical 'lines' of acid etched irregularity on a plain textured background all around the piece and not as irregular as your lines, but the design idea of the texture etc is similar. Could your lamps be earlier pieces?
