Title: Can anybody help identify this large glass vase please

My mum had this bought for her as a gift in the early 60's  it is quite large and very attractive to the right eye. Can anybody please tell me anything about it?

Hello and welcome to the board. Can you show us what it's like inside please? And a shot of the foot and the base of the foot would be helpful also.

I've a feeling these were id'd as possibly Italian, I think an orange one has been on the board before.  My friend has a turquoise one and it's gorgeous.  I'll have search to see if I can find the thread.
