Title: ID ideas please clear vase red and white inclusions?

Any thoughts on this please, it has red and white spots around base which I have described as inclusions. I have no idea if that is the right term and would be grateful for any ideas on what these are called. I am assuming that the vase itself is modern but if anybody had any ID ideas I would be grateful. Thanks John

Ikea about 9 years ago I believe - I had two, unfortunately they are quite unstable and I knocked them both over with drinks in (they came in packs of two) and broke them.
