Title: Overshot Glass Plate - Looks Like Sun Rays - Maker or Age?

Hi. I believe this is called overshot glass, am I correct? The plate measures 8" in diameter. The base is ground and polished. Is there any info anyone can give me? Thanks very much!

sorry, can't really help Patti........................not sure if you've run this description through the Board search facility  --  do try as there are a fair amount of references, and there might be something of interest.

I've not seen anything like it but you could try searching Brides Bowl maybe?  that might throw up some similar items.  Pretty bowl.
