good afternoon,
I hope someone can point me in the right direction here please. I was rather hoping this was a vintage murano lamp base, it certainly looks similar to the bullicante ones on the web but this is plain cased ruby glass - not a bubble to be seen! 5" wide x 5 and a 1/2" to top of brass fitting
If its not, I won't bother trying to clean it up (its filthy) - does the old stock label to the base help at all?
Cheers!

Can you get a closer pic of the label? You can use the macro settings on you camera, which is the flower icon.
-
It certainly looks old (ish) and nice quality. I would clean it whatever
-
thanks for the replies, I have added a close up of the label.
It is very faint but I think it reads 50/132
cheers

Hi, this looks very similar to a couple I came across yesterday - Archimede Seguso

ah yes, thank you NMott I had found a plethora of these on the web but they all have controlled bubbles - mine doesn't so as much as I'd like to say Seguso......i need to back it up
don't suppose you've come across any plain ones on your web travels?
cheers.
