hi all
Picked this vase up in an antique shop a few weeks back.
My first thought was Barbini, but the more I look into it the more I think it could possibly be a Barovier piece.
It weighs almost 2.5kg and is 31cm tall, clear glass (yellow tinged) which rises to amber at the top. Ribbed with controlled bubbles 2 small "wings" at the sides with gold detailing.
Plenty of age wear to the applied base which is concave. the pontil has been snapped and roughly finished (ground but not polished)
Can anybody ID this one for me (needs a really good clean)
thanks
michelle

We talked about this yesterday over on FB. I vote for Fratelli Toso 1960s.
