You wanted to be kept aware of molds changing hands. The assets of Plum Glass Company sold May 19-20, 2012 Plum Glass had a total of 81 moulds of which about 77 were complete almost all were Westmoreland. These moulds included selection from the Beaded Grape, Rose and Trellis and Maple Leaf lines with a few other moulds from Paneled Grape, Doric and English Hobnail included in the group. The primary purchaser of the moulds was Rosso Glass Company. Privately purchased were14 moulds including the line 1035 Crucifix Candlestick mould. The National Westmoreland Glass Collectors' Club purchased the Rabbit and Large Rooster on Egg mould, the tall footed Wedding Bowl mould, and the Swan Toothpick mould. A few other moulds were sold to collectors while the the rest of the moulds that were incomplete were sold to a scrap dealer. A full listing will be available on line in a couple of weeks. As for the Fenton auction held yesterday there have been some new developments you can read about in the article below.
