Post by: Simba on May 24, 2012, 10:28:46 AM
Hi Wonder if anyone can help me identify the latest addition to my collection. It is a pale blue part frosted vase with lovely handles. the flowers look like marigolds...any idea. I have trawled Pamela's site to no avail. I thought maybe Libochovice ?

It's a Sowerby Dora and rather lovely. It appears in the 1936 catalogue and is also shown in British Glass Between the Wars (I think that's where it is; I'm not at home to check)

Thanks you soooo much for letting me know so quickly I had looked though my Sowerby cd's but it wasn't on there. I love it, I can now put in pride of place. ;D
