I found this Mdina vase today.
It has the name Mdina in lower case 'mdina' and the numbers 06 and 74A.
Help with decoding them would be appreciated. Thanks.

Recent Mdina production, similar if not the same designs can be found currently for sale on the Mdina website.
In terms of the numbering 06 will refer to the year of production and the 74A, most likely refers to the shape or design.
Hope this helps.

Thanks. Thanks pretty clear as can be.

I think most of these modern designs come in a few different sizes, around 3 or so from memory.
Although I can't find an exact match on their website, yours looks similar to this design currently shown on their website. I believe their website may have recently been redesigned/updated, so you possibly may not find an exact match for some of these 2006 pieces.

I can't add anything more, information-wise. ;D
Obviously, the colourway design of the silver chloride crizzle on teal blue is still Michael Harris' original, the range of shapes has been continually added to.
These large organic shapes with twists are very recent.

I did manage to find a contemporary edition in 3 sizes. Mine is closest to the miniature at 16.5 cm. The current stated hight is 18 cm but they do say several factors may vary due to the hand made nature.
Although I've seen a few different names for the colourway, they are calling it Blue Crystal.
Thanks again for all you helpful comments.

Dobson's "Tiger" design has been renamed "Marble" - although the way the colours is used in Marble is slightly different - they're not nearly so three-dimensional and a very pale creamy colour, with tiny dark patches has replaced the bubbly yellow. Another design of MH's which did not have a name is now called "Crystal Blue Stripe".
