I thought it probably wasn't, but then looked them up online and now think it might be.
Stands about 8"
Has a rather elongated, polished pontil.

It does not look like a Whitefriars swan and the colour is not right . However, as it is hard to tell from this photo, would suggest a straight profile shot would be better for identification purposes.

Hi Scavo, I am inclined to agree, it just don't look right, especially when looking at the one I recently launched on this site. Here is a picture for comparison purposes. The neck and wing area is what strikes me as different, but who knows, I could be wrong. The height seem different too, as mine in approx. 8.5". Here is my thread below which may assist you with your investigations.

Hi, quite a few photos of an early Frank Hill swan in this link to my album which may help you realise it's not Whitefriars.

I just had a look through you album and was looking at the Saxony cock. I don't know my about Saxony but I can only assume they are a distributer as I have a stainless steel serving dish with the same name and crest - obviously not the hand made in italy bit! Just FYI.
-
From what little information available Saxony is a German importer so presumably the cockerel was made on Murano and then exported.
