Title: Dangerous Glass Plate !
Post by: petet63 on June 15, 2012, 08:46:25 PM
I have had this for a while now and need to clear out the cupboard. I have kept an eye out while looking for other items but not seen this yet. It is 26cm in diameter and 5cm at its high point. Its also very dangerous to hands as the underside is cut so much its painful to hold  :)

It looks pressed, not cut. Early pressings from a new mould can be very sharp indeed. Horrible things to hold.  :o

It must have been the first out of the mould  ;D and yes, horrible to hold but probably handy for taking artex off a ceiling.  Any clues as to age and maker. I have seen everything I can on various sites and very often got side tracked as you do.
