This vase is pretty heavy for it's size. I'm not sure what time period it was produced, but it looks a bit art deco. I searched presglas pavilion but it was not there. It is 7.5" inches tall.

Does anyone have an idea on potential producer of this piece?

Czech? German?

Well the clear unfrosted flowers look like stylised roses and they remind me of Rennie Mackintosh roses or something. Other than that no idea. It's very feminine, quite frou frou in design detail but presents as uncluttered and sophisticated. Nice, I like it.

Flying Free beat me to it :) Real look of CR Mac, first thing that came to mind. I like it. ;)

Wow. I like what your thinking. That's a very interesting comparison. I thought something about it looked familiar, but i couldn't put my finger on it.

CRM's motifs tend to get everywhere, though.
Does anybody know if he ever designed for any glass house anywhere?
Given he worked in and was based in Glasgow, I can't think of any Scottish makers of pressed glass vases.
I would think it's simply copied from his style.

He would be worth billions now on copyright alone ;D Its copied everywhere. This vase seems to peak an interest in a few people. I have had a quick look at a few sites and a few searches but nothing yet. Seems to be a lot of nice detail in it. Not strictly in my colour ;D but would be a stunner in UV.

I'm sure the motif has nothing to do with CRM directly. Which makes me wonder when such a blatant inspiration would have been allowed this vase to have been made.
Pete, what do you mean by "UV"?
