Title: Bohemian green iridescent glass epergne with EP holder

believe this epergne might be bohemian. but not sure about the base being right. the base is made in England in 1887. did some bohemian glass manufactures use english metal work or vise versa.

Why do you think it is Bohemian? 
Can I ask, is it iridescent btw?

I wouldn't rule out English either but often where the metal was made can be completely unconnected to where the glass was made. How many ribs has it got; eight like the number of crimps? Is it uranium glass? Is it lead crystal?

I doubt very much that number is indicating a date  -  more likely a model or pattern No. probably.    See below for some similar backstamps.

I could be wrong, but the silver plate mark looks just possibly as though it might be Walker & Hall - the S standing for Sheffield.    They started around the 1850's and some time in the 1960's joined up with Mappin & Webb and Elkingtons, and am now certain the No. is nothing other than a pattern No.
Doesn't remotely help with the glass, but thought it might be of interest, and if they are still in business in some guise or other, then it might be possible - using that pattern No. - to find out the date/period of use.
Of course, if it's not Walker & Hall, then it's back to the drawing board. :)

Thanks for all the info. It looks like walker and hall marks now that you have said it i thought it was two letters at first.
i put a question mark next to bohemian just looked like it might have been but i was hoping someone would put me right.
it is iridescent it has eight ridges, i dont think it is uranium glass but i dont have a black light
looking again it could be any maker
