Title: Studio style vase signed Pilkington

Ran into this little beast today, a sort of studio style vase engraved Pilkington on the base. It is 12 inches tall (30cm) and has a ground and unpolished base and ground out pontil mark. Triangular shape with three handles and round neck.

Googling brings me plenty of glass results but not much relevance as far as I can tell.

Any ideas as to where, when and even who?
