Hi all!
Can anyone tell me whether this is a Skrdlovice bowl - perhaps Jan Beranek? Any help appreciated.

It's made of neodymium glass.

No, 100% not Skrdlovice.
I also have my doubts as to whether it's Czech. Perhaps it would be a good idea to ask a moderator to move the thread to the general glass section where more people could have a look at it?
Anik :)
P.S. May you add a picture of the base, please?
-
Thanks Anik. I'll put more pics up tomorrow.

Looks related to this one of Dirk's:

Possibly Walther of Germany, but not yet confirmed?
-
Sorry, Walther could not be confirmed yet... But itīs surely a relative of the
pieces in the thread.
Angel2, are you sure itīs neodymium? Did you test it?
In this case the Walther theory would become less convincing. They produced
in this colour, but the examples I handled werenīt neodymium.

i have one in grey and it has not been identified. This one looks a bit too shrill to be neodymium - it might just be pink.
-
Hi! Thanks for all your interest and replies.
Anik - I've done a base shot if it helps.
Wayne - it looks very similar to the Walther but doubtful as definitely neodymium.
Dirk - it's certainly neodymium - it has a slight blue cast pink colour in daylight and is grey blue in electric light with no sign of pink.
Ivo - the shrill look of the pink is my poor photography, the ones below are a little better.

Interesting. My conclusion then would be that Walther did make neodymium.
You can grow old like a cow, still thereīs something new to know - err, like they say
over here... ;D

;D ;D ;D I do like that saying.

Hi Dirk!
Thanks for that, I would have believed the same looking at your pics - the similarity is too close to be anything else. I'm going with probably Walther anyway
