Title: Help ID this Weight please
Post by: top-of-the-hill on July 18, 2012, 06:23:42 PM
I bought this at the goodwill yesterday.  I'm usually pretty good at identifying blown glass, but I'm really stuck on this one. Im sure it will be easy for someone here.

The canes sit on a mix of frit.  Thanks for your help.  Also this is my first post so if I left out any important details please let me know.|

Thanks,
Travis

Christine,

Thanks for the reply.  I was hoping it was Murano and not Chinese.  I really like that vase you have with the leaf attached to it under blown glass on your webpage.  That is amazing.

Can anyone narrow it down to a factory on Murano??

Thanks
Travis

My feeling is that they are Fratelli Toso canes from the mid 20th century.  I don't know whether they sold them to other factories though.

Thanks Alan,
