Peachy pink pressed glass trinket set tray, 15 inches x 9 inches. Stretched octagonal shape.

Distinguishing features:
Two clear linked pentagons against a heavily stippled or textured background
Two ribbed handles, one on each short side.

Frederick,
you'll trace mine in  France section  (http://pressglas-pavillon.de/schalen/02668.html) because faintly marked 'France'.
No further information found so far, I'm afraid.

Thank you very much, Pamela.

I'd been told that the tray had no markings (but I suppose it depends how hard they had looked, or perhaps they had simply misinterpreted 'markings' for defects).

I must say that I normally only search for trinket sets and their 'bits' on http://pressglas-pavillon.de  by looking in the 'trinket sets', 'covered dishes + boxes', and 'candlesticks' section, but I've learned now to search the 'bowls + plates' section too (especially for the odd trays). Will try harder next time.

I'm sure the seller of the tray will be pleased with our deliberations so far. They were really quite excited with the whole idea of the project, and were delighted to have been pointed the way to http://pressglas-pavillon.de  and http://www.glasstrinketsets.com

Interesting, I have seen this tray once before in clear/flint but had also failed to spot it on Pamela's fab site.

That's really useful to know as the ones I've seen haven't had visible marks, so thank you Pamela! :) That's now two sets we know originate with a French maker or makers... the question is which one/s?

I've now seen this French Tray several times with a globe/bowl shaped decanter and little glasses, mostly in pink but once the whole set was in green.

Another thread here for possible merging?

Also, another interesting thread with a similar tray and the same style decanter and glasses here:
