Title: Mary Gregory glass

I had the chance yesterday to purchase some Mary Gregory tumblers and vases but I was very dubious.  Is Mary Gregory glass acid etched? The ones that were available yesterday were layers of white enamel (some French biscuit) no signs of any acid etching.  Would these have been the real deal (hard to say without a photo I appreciate) or would have these been in the style of?

Look up Mary Gregory and you will find that it is just a style of enamelling. There is plenty of information online about how to tell the difference between older and newer.
