Title: Uranium bowl
Post by: Hannah B on July 26, 2012, 04:02:41 PM
Hi just wondering if uranium was also used in crystal, as have a very bright bowl here that seems crystal and not glass, though does contain air bubbles .... TIA Hannah  :)

I assume you mean lead crystal and not just clear glass? Yes it was. A picture would be good though

As it's pressed glass, it's unlikely to be lead crystal; some of the much older stuff was but this is 30s-40s I would say.
